Installing the ZX Spectrum (GameBase SpeccyMania v4) package for HyperSpin:

0 / Download the ZX Spectrum GameBase pack : this is the Gamebase SpeccyMania v4 pack from Sparky (Oct 2013): “SpeccyMania_v4_zx_up_dax_PL.7z” of about 2 GB, I do not provide links, you can find it on the net.

1 / uncompress  “SpeccyMania_v4_zx_up_dax_PL.7z”file anywhere you want.

2 / Open a window “explorer” then go to the directory “.. \zx_up_dax_PL\ZX Spectrum\Games\” in the window at the top right corner , there is “search”
type “* .zip” (without the quotation marks). When all the “* .zip” files are displayed (12657): copy them all and move them to the ZX Spectrum games directory of your choice.

3 / In the “..\zx_up_dax_PL\ZX Spectrum\Emulators\” folder, Extract the “Spectaculator 7.51.1761.rar” archive then copy and replace the extracted file “..\zx_up_dax_PL\ZX Spectrum\Emulators\Spectaculator 7.51.1761\crack\Spectaculator.exe” to “..\zx_up_dax_PL\ZX Spectrum\Emulators\Spectaculator 7\”

4 / Execute file “..\zx_up_dax_PL\ZX Spectrum\Emulators\Spectaculator 7\Spectaculator.exe” then enter serial key found into “..\zx_up_dax_PL\ZX Spectrum\Emulators\Spectaculator 7.51.1761\crack\key.txt”

5 / Copy “..\zx_up_dax_PL\ZX Spectrum\Emulators\Spectaculator 7” folder to the location of your emulators for HyperSpin.

6 / Add a new system to HyperSpin and RocketLauncher with the name: “ZX Spectrum”

7 / For Media files of ZX Spectrum for HyperSpin do as follows: Download the media pack from the “Download” -> “ZX Spectrum” menu (3 parts of 700 MB) Extract the archive then place the “ZX Spectrum” directory in the hyperspin media directory “.. \HYPERSPIN\Media\”

8 / For the XML files contained in “ZX Spectrum (databases) .7z” do as follows: Download the XML database in the “Download” -> “ZX Spectrum” menu, then extract the archive and place the directory “ZX Spectrum” in the hyperspin databases directory  : “..\HYPERSPIN\Databases\” and RocketLauncher’s databases directory :  “..\RocketLauncher\RocketLauncherUI\Databases\”

9 / For the RocketLauncher module, set the following: Download the new module and its files from the Download menu. Extract the archive and replace the files in the “..\RocketLauncher\Modules\Spectaculator” directory with the new one.

10 / For RocketLauncherUI.exe set as: Select your system “ZX Spectrum”, on “Settings” in “7z”: enabled = false, attach system name = false. Then on “Settings” in “settings”: “Skip Checks = false”. In “Emulators”, in “rom Paths” add the folder containing all * .zip games. (moved in step 2) then in “current emulator list …” add: Name = Spectaculator, path = Here select the executable “spectaculator.exe” (that of step 5), rom extensions = zip, Module = Spectaculator(GameBase).ahk, then save. Finally, in “Default Emulator” select “Spectaculator”

11 / Take a break , it’s over! You can finally play more than 12000 ZX Spectrum games on your HyperSpin configuration
